Digital Merchandising Manager – UK Click & Collect, 12 Month Fixed Term

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Merchandising Manager to lead our UK Click & Collect digital merchandising team during a 12‑month maternity cover. This is a key leadership role focused on maintaining momentum, driving performance and ensuring our digital storefront reflects our brand values and commercial priorities.

You’ll oversee a team of five merchandisers, guiding them to deliver data‑led merchandising excellence. Using customer insights, funnel analysis and performance metrics you’ll help optimise conversion, engagement and the overall online experience – ensuring our Click & Collect proposition continues to thrive.

What you will do as a Digital Merchandising Manager

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day‑to‑day:

Trade Performance & Site Optimisation
  • Lead the team to:
    • Achieve Click & Collect sales targets through management of product visibility, availability and optimising key customer journeys
    • Optimise product presentation and navigation to improve conversion and customer satisfaction
    • Deliver a consistent and brand‑aligned product experience across all digital touchpoints
  • Maintain & evolve a data‑driven merchandising model that supports site performance and customer experience
  • Oversee the use of search and merchandising tools (e.g. Bloomreach) to ensure commercial efficiency
Data, Insight & KPI Reporting
  • Monitor core digital KPIs (conversion, bounce rate, CTR, etc.) to assess merchandising impact
  • Partner with analytics and experimentation teams to identify funnel drop‑offs and support A/B testing initiatives
  • Translate customer behaviour and sales data into actionable merchandising decisions
Cross‑functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with e‑commerce trading to ensure that customer journeys are focused on the most in‑demand product with the best availability
  • Collaborate with buying, marketing, UX and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure product campaigns and stories are well represented online
  • Align with marketing and content teams on commercial priorities and traffic‑driving initiatives
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to balance clarity of customer journey with search optimisation
  • Work with digital product teams to prioritise roadmap of development work
Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide clear direction and day‑to‑day leadership for the digital merchandising team
  • Coach and support team members to deliver high‑quality, insight‑led outcomes
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years in digital merchandising or e‑commerce trading, with proven team leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of e‑commerce customer journeys (preferably fashion), funnel optimisation and merchandising analytics
  • Experience with search and merchandising platforms (preferably Bloomreach)
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive action
  • Proven ability to manage cross‑functional relationships and influence stakeholders
