Job summary

Located within the Chief Executive’s Department, Communications & Strategic Partnerships, you will work with the Digital Media and Design team to create and curate engaging digital content that supports the Council’s communications objectives. You will contribute to the development and delivery of the Council’s Digital and Social Media Strategy, with a particular focus on engaging with our audiences and supporting related initiatives and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, design, and implementation of the Council’s Digital and Social Media Strategy with a focus on engaging with our audiences, supporting initiatives and activities.
  • Contribute to content creation, copywriting, editing, proofreading, and uploading to digital channels and directing paid search and social campaigns.
  • Build and manage brand consistency through digital content.
  • Establish and maintain online communities on all relevant platforms by managing and responding to interactions alongside the customer service team.
  • Create periodic reports to optimise platform messaging by analysing user behaviour trends and communications metrics, including the performance of campaigns.
  • This role is politically restricted.
