Overview

Job Title: Digital Literacy Tutor

Location: Home-based, libraries, or online

Working Hours: Up to 4 hours a week (2x2 hour sessions) flexible days - Monday to Friday - 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM. You pick your hours and days work

Pay: 75 per 2 hour sessions

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our team. As part of our service, you will be working directly with students in their homes, local libraries, or community centres, helping them access education outside of the traditional school setting. You will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one tuition to students
  • Plan and implement tailored learning programs based on individual student needs and abilities
  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
  • Write weekly progress reports on pupils attendance and achievements during the sessions
  • Work during school hours, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher
  • Passion for education and helping students overcome challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals
  • Enhanced DBS check required (we will assist with this process)
  • ICT experience
  • SEN experience (preffered)
