Job summary

Rolls-Royce is actively seeking Project Managers for the Digital & IT Team in Derby and Bristol. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least three days per week and involves owning complex, business-critical projects from planning to delivery with stakeholders, suppliers and partners.

You will balance governance with pragmatic delivery, manage budgets and ensure benefits realisation while driving efficiency across the programme.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large, complex projects.
• Experience managing multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost forecasting.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with governance.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership for planning, managing and delivering projects to time, cost and quality outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, delivery teams and partners to align outcomes.
• Oversee third-party Statements of Work and deliverables, ensuring outputs meet standards.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, assumptions and decisions clearly and constructively.
• Manage budgets, supplier performance, resource burn and reporting in line with processes.
• Maintain clear resource plans and support informed capacity/capability decisions.
• Apply standard delivery governance and rigour within framework guidelines.
• Adapt plans in complex environments while maintaining momentum.
• Drive continuous improvement and better delivery efficiency.
• Embed safety, regulatory and compliance considerations into planning.
