Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to help students achieve their potential in ICT, business studies, and Computing.
  • Teach a range of courses including Computing, Digital, and IT for 14-19 and adult learners from level 1 to level 5.
  • Maintain records of professional development activities.
  • Create engaging and stimulating lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • Manage and develop teaching resources, sharing them across the institution.
  • Monitor student progress, implement intervention strategies, and support underperforming students.
  • Develop and share course resources, maintaining effective links within the institution.
Skills & Experience
  • Right to Work & Enhanced DBS (Adult/Child) dated within the last 3 months or on the update service.
  • Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications.
  • Honours degree in Digital/Computing or equivalent.
  • UK-recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering the subject.
