Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking an experienced Digital Hardware Engineering Lead to join their Maritime Services unit on a contract basis. The role is based in Cowes with hybrid working arrangements of four days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the digital hardware engineering team to develop hardware solutions for Maritime Services
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with technical and strategic goals
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of digital hardware components and systems
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in resolving complex engineering challenges
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and quality standards
  • Liaise with stakeholders to deliver project updates and ensure project milestones are met

Job Requirements:
