Job summary

CACI Information Intelligence Group (IIG) in North Yorkshire seeks an experienced Digital Forensic Analyst to join its accredited team delivering investigations for the UK law enforcement sector. You will work across computers, mobiles, CCTV, audio and cloud data, providing robust evidence and testimony.

The role requires a degree in digital forensics or computer science, strong OS knowledge, and experience with forensic tools; travel and driving licence are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in digital forensics or computer science or related policing environment.
• Knowledge of OS, file systems (Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS, Linux) and networks.
• Experience with digital forensic examinations using hardware and software tools.
• Desirable: mobile, computer, CCTV/video, or audio forensics experience.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17043/17025 and related guidance; UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital forensic investigations across a range of data sources and devices.
• Capture, process and analyse data in accredited labs or at client sites.
• Produce forensic reports and present findings in court or to investigators.
• Support proficiency testing services and maintain quality compliance.
• Attend training and contribute to development of forensic capabilities.
