Job description

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to speak with Digital Engineering Coordinators who bring a strong background in BIM and a passion for digital innovation ready for future opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team delivering high-impact Energy and Resources projects, where digital engineering plays a critical role in driving efficiency, collaboration, and project success. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values precision, innovation, and continuous improvement, with the chance to contribute to complex and meaningful work shaping the future of infrastructure.

About the Role

Working closely with the Digital Delivery Lead and wider Digital Engineering colleagues within Energy & Resources, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of BIM processes across multidisciplinary project teams. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will ensure models are effectively integrated, aligned, and optimised throughout the project lifecycle.

You will take ownership of federated models, managing clash detection processes and facilitating the resolution of design conflicts in a timely and collaborative manner. Alongside this, you will support the implementation of BIM standards and workflows, ensuring compliance with industry frameworks such as ISO 19650.

A core part of the role will involve maintaining model integrity and enabling seamless collaboration through the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring project teams are working with accurate, up-to-date information at all times. This is a highly detail-oriented position where your technical expertise and coordination skills will directly influence the quality and success of project delivery.

Your Impact

In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing together complex design information and enabling teams to work more collaboratively and efficiently. By coordinating federated models and resolving clashes early in the design process, you will help minimise risk, reduce rework, and improve overall project outcomes.

Your ability to implement and uphold BIM standards will ensure consistency and quality across projects, while your proactive approach to issue resolution will keep delivery on track. You will play a key part in embedding best practice digital engineering approaches, helping to elevate project performance and drive innovation within the team.

Through your work within the Common Data Environment, you will enable transparent, streamlined communication across disciplines, strengthening collaboration and ensuring that everyone is working from a single source of truth. Ultimately, your contribution will help deliver smarter, more efficient infrastructure solutions in support of the wider energy transition.

About You

You are a detail-driven and collaborative digital engineering professional with a solid foundation in BIM coordination and model management. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments and bring a proactive approach to solving challenges and improving ways of working.

You will bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)

  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revizto

  • Practical experience in model federation, clash detection, and issue tracking

  • A solid understanding of ISO 19650 standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)

  • Confidence working within a Common Data Environment (CDE)

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams

Desirable experience includes BIM certifications, exposure to 4D/5D BIM for sequencing and cost planning, and familiarity with data visualisation tools.
