Job summary

ThePlaceToBe in Leeds is seeking a Content Editor to join its SEO team, shaping and refining digital marketing content across web pages, social posts, email and paid media. You will review campaigns, ensure adherence to editorial guidelines and tailor copy for SEO performance.

Ideal candidates are passionate about content, strong in English, with a good grasp of SEO principles and experience in an agency setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of written English (grammar, spelling, punctuation)
• Knowledge of content formats for PPC, SEO, Social Media and web pages
• Agency experience preferred
• Able to communicate with internal teams and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Willingness to commute to Leeds City Centre 2 days a week

Responsibilities

• Review and proofread campaign copy produced by the agency whilst ensuring content reaches the expected guidelines
• Edit and refine copy to meet the required standards whilst adopting for web pages, social posts, email and paid media
• Rewrite any passages / content pieces that aren’t in the set standards
• Tailor content pieces to SEO best practice guidelines
• Work with wider digital marketing team to ensure editorial standards are being met

As a Content Editior, you’ll join a growing SEO department and help with writing and editing of Digital Marketing Content

What you’ll be doing day to day...

• Review and proofread campaign copy produced by the agency whilst ensuring content reaches the expected guidelines
