📢 We’re Hiring: Digital Content Creator (UKROEd & The Road Safety Trust)

📍 Hybrid | 🕒 37.5 hours p/w | 💰 £36,000 per year

📅 Applications close: 17 November 2025

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for producing engaging, visually compelling digital content? Do you want to use your skills to make a genuine difference to public safety and save lives on UK roads?

UKROEd and The Road Safety Trust are looking for a talented Digital Content Creator to help shape how we communicate with the public, our partners and the wider road safety community. This is an exciting opportunity to create meaningful work with social purpose—while joining a supportive, forward-thinking organisation.

💡 Who We Are

UKROEd delivers and manages the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) on behalf of UK police forces, helping to educate drivers who commit low-level traffic offences. All surplus funds from this work are donated to The Road Safety Trust, the UK’s largest independent road safety grant‑making charity. Together, we’re focused on reducing road harm and achieving a future where nobody is killed or seriously injured on our roads.

We value creativity, professionalism, fairness, and inclusivity. Every colleague and applicant is treated with respect, and we welcome people from all backgrounds.

🎥 The Role

We’re searching for someone who loves creating digital content in all forms—video, graphics, social media, podcasts, animations, and more. You’ll be the creative lead for a wide range of projects across both organisations, helping us connect with practitioners, police forces, road safety experts, and the wider public. Your work will support our strategic communications plans and help amplify the voices, research, and life‑saving work happening across the road safety sector.

✅ What You’ll Do
  • Produce high‑quality content for websites, newsletters, LinkedIn, X, and other platforms
  • Plan, record, and edit podcasts, video interviews, animations, and infographics
  • Create engaging campaign visuals, banners and promotional graphics
  • Update and optimise website content while maintaining SEO best practice
  • Track engagement and analytics, turning data into real‑world recommendations
  • Support brand consistency across both organisations
  • Bring fresh creative ideas, explore new tools, and stay up‑to‑date with digital trends
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams and external partners
⭐ What You’ll Bring
  • Experience producing digital content for social media and websites
  • Strong skills in video editing, podcast production, and/or animation
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, WordPress or similar
  • Ability to tailor tone and style for different audiences
  • Great organisational skills and confidence juggling multiple projects
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and GDPR in digital content
  • A curious, creative mindset—with openness to new tech and AI‑powered tools
💙 Why Work With Us?
  • Supportive, collaborative culture
  • Real‑world impact—your work will help save lives
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Flexible working and work‑life balance
