Digital Content Creator

Location: Coulsdon
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Contract Type: Full-time (37.5hrs/week, Mon-Fri 9:00-5:30)

Role Overview

As the Digital Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and distributing high-impact content across my client s social media and website. You ll work closely with our technical and sales teams to produce engaging written content that educates, informs, and inspires our audience. You ll also collaborate with external agencies to create advanced visual assets that support our marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy & Execution
    Own the creation, scheduling, and distribution of content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube, ensuring consistency and engagement.
  • Performance Reporting
    Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights to improve reach and engagement.
  • Website Content Ownership
    Write and manage engaging website content including case studies, blogs, product updates, and technical resources. Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to ensure accuracy, relevance, and value to our audience.
  • Agency Collaboration
    Work with external video production and graphic design agencies to create high-quality video content and advanced visual assets that support brand and campaign objectives.
  • Content Planning & Strategy
    Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trends.
  • Brand Voice & Messaging
    Ensure all content reflects my client s tone of voice, brand guidelines, and values, maintaining consistency across platforms.
  • Audience Engagement
    Create content that resonates with our target audience, encourages interaction, and builds community across digital channels.
  • SEO & Digital Best Practices
    Apply SEO principles to website content and stay informed on digital trends and platform updates.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in digital content creation, copywriting, and social media management.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging, technically accurate content.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially sales and technical departments.
  • Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Canto).
  • Experience working with creative agencies or in-house design/video teams.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web content best practices.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
  • Creative eye and ability to design simple assets on Canva.
