A charitable organization in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a Digital Communications Officer to manage social media, create engaging content, and enhance digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience and is proficient in various digital platforms. This role offers a flexible and supportive work environment aimed at developing your skills.
This role is 37.5 hours per week. Fixed term contract for 12 months. You will be involved in a variety of digital communications and marketing tasks across all online channels, including writing and scheduling social media content, monitoring comments, producing videos and reels, answering enquiries, creating a staff e-newsletter, and uploading stories to our website. Every day offers the opportunity to grow digital skills and flex creativity. You will work as part of a fun, friendly and dedicated team in an organisation focused on supporting people in our care.
You will be passionate about St Oswalds Hospice, the work we do and the people we help and care for. You will contribute to the organisation’s digital communications and marketing priorities.
