Job summary

Landsec, based in London, is seeking a Corporate Communications professional to develop and deliver standout content across our digital channels. You will inform, engage and influence audiences, shaping our reputation and supporting our strategy with insightful, news-led storytelling.

You will work in a fast-paced B2B environment, collaborating with Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Marketing to amplify campaigns and ensure content is engaging, accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a communications/content-focused role in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in corporate communications, preferably B2B.
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
• Experience with digital platforms and CMS and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Source, create and deliver compelling news and thought-led content across digital and social channels.
• Manage content across website and social media, enhancing SEO and reach.
• Collaborate with Marketing to tell stories about places, social value and sustainability.
• Support campaigns and issues management with cross-team coordination.

You’ll be able to apply strategic, forward thinking and adapt plans according to changing priorities and audience insights, and have a strong interest in how every story forms part of the bigger picture.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIESSource, create and deliver compelling news, thought-led and creative content across our digital and social media channels that helps build Landsec’s reputation, bring our strategy and narrative to life, and challenge what’s expected of corporate contentManage content across our suite of digital communications channels including our website, Landsec.com hosted on Umbraco, our corporate social media channels – predominantly LinkedIn and Instagram, building in SEO and paid media to ensure reach and creating and editing relevant and engaging visual content using CanvaWork closely with the B2B and B2C Marketing teams to share, promote and join forces to tell stories that positively profile our places, social value and sustainability activity, and positively influence our audiencesSupport the Corporate Affairs team with campaigns that profile Landsec’s position on and response to key national and local issues. This includes supporting with communications plans that help deliver the team’s campaign objectives, working proactively with Corporate Affairs and other teams across the business to amplify our campaign messagesWork with the Data & Tech team and external agencies to keep our website up to date with compelling and engaging content, track analytics and insight that will inform our content strategy and ensure Landsec’s corporate website is best in class within real estate and across other leading FTSE 100 businessesSupport the Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Finance teams to plan and deliver major content updates at key financial moments throughout the year including prelim results (May); Annual Report (June); interim results (Nov) and investor Capital Market Days (twice per year)Work closely with the Internal Communications Executive to align on internal and external communications priorities and opportunities that help drive the Corporate Affairs’ team strategy forward; including supporting wider team priorities and content creation and delivery requirements as neededSupport the Corporate Affairs team with issues management as requiredBe a proactive ambassador for the Corporate Affairs team, role modelling our guiding principles when working with internal and external stakeholdersESSENTIAL CRITERIAPassion for content excellence, a nose for news and trends, and a desire to contribute to a leading online presenceProven track record of success in a communications and content focused-role in a fast-paced environment, experience within a corporate communications function and B2B environment preferrableEvidence of delivering successful B2B digital communications and content strategiesPrevious experience with managing paid, targeted campaigns and measuring their successEvidence of strong creativity, exceptional copywriting and content creationProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work with people across all levels in a businessKnowledge of and experience using digital platforms and content management systemsKnowledge and understanding of cyber security and its importance for reputation managementUnderstanding of key issues facing modern businesses and how to articulate these to a range of audiencesExperience with website maintenance and content managementExperience of video editing and using creative programmes to produce contentExcellent writing capabilities, attention to detail, creativity, project management and organisationUnderstanding of how analytics and audience insight can be used to evaluate performance and improve digital communicationsResponsive team player and delivery-focused - able to turn around quality work swiftly with a positive mindset to getting things done.
