Salary £55,613 - £60,148 per annum | Permanent, Full time 37 hours per week | Preston

Are you an experienced commissioning professional with a passion for digital transformation and service improvement? Join our Digital Commissioning team at County Hall and help shape the future of Lancashire's digital services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the commissioning lifecycle for internal and external digital services, including innovative solutions across Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, End User Computing (EUC), Cloud technologies, and Schools.
  • Create and manage service level agreements to ensure value-for-money and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with digital, cybersecurity, and commissioning policies and regulations.
  • Manage service budgets and align them with strategic digital plans.
  • Lead strategic planning and procurement of new digital capabilities.
What we;re looking for
  • Professional or academic qualification in procurement or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Substantial experience in commissioning or procurement, ideally within the public sector.
  • Proven ability to manage digital service commissioning and contract arrangements.
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and best practices.
