Are you a strategic leader with a passion for digital transformation and value-driven service delivery? Join our Digital Commissioning team at County Hall and lead the way in shaping innovative, cost-effective digital solutions for Lancashire County Council.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Digital Commissioning team, driving innovation and embedding a modern, progressive commissioning approach.
• Deliver value-for-money digital services through effective service measurement, vendor management, licensing, and asset control.
• Commission cutting-edge solutions in areas such as Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, End User Computing (EUC), Cloud technologies, and Schools.
• Oversee the integration of third-party and in-house digital services into a seamless, resilient operating model.
• Manage digital revenue and commissioning budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic financial plans.

What we\'re looking for

• Honours degree or equivalent relevant experience, with a professional qualification in digital commissioning or SIAM.
• Proven experience in commissioning digital products and services within complex organisations, ideally in public sector.
• Experience of managing suppliers in a SIAM environment. Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent knowledge of digital trends, tools, and platforms.
• Ability to manage budgets, drive service improvement, and lead cross-functional teams.
