A healthcare organization in Sunderland is seeking a Digital Co-ordinator to support the delivery of digital initiatives in primary care. The successful candidate will develop networks with system partners and manage clinical information. Ideal applicants have experience in primary care environments and excellent communication skills. This role offers a collaborative environment focused on improving patient services.
We are currently seeking to recruit 2 Digital Co-ordinators on a 2 year Fixed-Term basis. The Digital Co-ordinator will support with the delivery of anydigital/IT initiatives enabling primary care to move towards a digital firstapproach, where patients can easily access the advice, support, and treatmentthey need using digital and online tools as well as identification of newtechnology to support NHSE priorities and SGPA Strategy.
The post-holder will workas part of a wider team, ensuring there is integration with the breadth of theorganisations activities and ensure the highest standards of care are providedfor all patients who benefit from the services
Workwith the member practices, the ICB and other stakeholders to support thedevelopment of General Practice at scale.
Developnetworks with a range of system partners to ensure projects complement serviceselsewhere in the local health economy.
Managethe development and curation of clinical and patient information for primarycare in Sunderland.
Interactwith NHS systems such as GP TeamNet/EMIS/SIRMS to ensure compliance withexpected standards.
Provide support for the delivery of TeamNet Clinical Support Information.
Maintainlocal document management systems.
SupportThe Digital Programme manager in the delivery of the 3-year digital plan.
Developand maintain project plans under the supervision of the Programme Manager.
Attendproject implementation groups to support the administration of these groups.
Attendmeetings with partner organisations designed to develop and integrate servicesacross the city.
To workflexibly within the team to ensure the work of the whole team can beeffectively managed.
Assistwith data and information analysis to support project delivery.
Carryout research to support development of new initiatives.
Collectand manage qualitative and quantitative data indicators.
Prepare,monitor and maintain budget information relating to projects.
Supportthe completion of monthly or quarterly financial reconciliations.
Producemonthly reports to highlight performance against contract objectives.

Sunderland GP Alliance runs three medical practices at New Silksworth Medical Practice, South Hylton Surgery and Monument Surgeries.
JOB PURPOSE
The Alliance exists to develop collaborativeworking between GP practices in line with the NHS strategic direction oftravel. Many of the developments thatthe Alliance can facilitate relate to services that are better provided atscale than by individual practices.
Our Digital infrastructure and other technologyinnovations within the NHS requires a co-ordinated approach to ensure patientcare is delivered to the highest standards.
The Digital Co-ordinator will support with thedelivery of any digital/IT initiatives enabling primary care to move towardsa digital first approach, where patients can easily access the advice,support, and treatment they need using digital and online tools as well asidentification of new technology to support NHSE priorities and SGPA Strategy.
The post-holder will work as part of a widerteam, ensuring there is integration with the breadth of the organisationsactivities and ensure the highest standards of care are provided for allpatients who benefit from the services.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Workwith the member practices, the ICB and other stakeholders to support thedevelopment of General Practice at scale.

Deputisefor project management staff if needed at scheduled meetings.
Attendmeetings with partner organisations designed to develop and integrateservices across the city.
Workas part of a wider team to support the development of services and tenders inline with strategic objectives.
Towork flexibly within the team to ensure the work of the whole team can beeffectively managed.
Assistwith data and information analysis to support project delivery.
Carryout research to support development of new initiatives.
Collectand manage qualitative and quantitative data indicators.
Prepare,monitor and maintain budget information relating to projects.
