Job summary

ThePlaceToBe in Leeds is seeking a Digital Business Director to lead client servicing for key digital performance projects. You will manage tier-one client relationships, ensuring delivery on time and within budgets, with support from activation teams.

You will line-manage a team of 3 Account Directors within a 15-person department and collaborate across ecommerce-focused client work. Hybrid role, require Leeds access.

Qualifications

• Experience in client service / account management within a digital/marketing agency.
• Experience managing digital performance accounts (SEO, PPC, Social).
• Ability to lead a team of client service specialists.
• Strong history of leading stakeholder meetings with tier-one clients.
• Experience handling large-brand budgets in the £millions range.
• Proficiency across Content, PR and Web Development/UX.
• Must be able to commute to Leeds City Centre two days per week.

ThePlaceToBe are excited to be working closely with a great independent digital marketing agency. These guys offer services such as Web Development, Paid Media, SEO, PR and Content Marketing. This digital agency work with a string of exciting brands mostly within the tourism and drinks industry.

About the role...

As a Digital Business Director, the focus of your role will be to lead upon the client servicing for a selection of the agency’s key clients specifically across digital performance projects

What you’ll be doing day to day...

• Manage direct client relationships for tier one portfolio
• Ensure all digital performance (PPC and Social) projects are delivered on time and within budgets with help from the activation teams
• Line management of a team of 3 Account Directors, sat within a department of 15
• Sit within a large client service team and work with client across the eCommerce space
• Maintenance of secondary client relationships and be escalation point for briefs / issues
• Active involvement on long term team development including recruitment

About you...

What we're looking for...

• Previous client service / Account management experience within a digital / marketing agency
• Experience managing accounts across digital performance (SEO, PPC and Social Media)
• Confidence to manage a team of Client Service specialists
• Strong experience leading stakeholder meetings and tier one client management
• Worked with huge brands with digital spends into the £millions per annum
• Good understanding of the wider digital marketing channels such as Content, PR and Web Development/UX
• You must be able to commute to Leeds City Centre, 2 days a week
