Coventry City Council’s Digital Services team is responsible for delivering key enabling and transformational services for the wider organisation, city and external partners. What is the job role?

This role supports the delivery of our One Council programme, which is an opportunity for us to change the way we work together and use technology to enhance and accelerate service delivery. Working in a team of five Business Analysts, the post holder will review and analyse Council services, processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the delivery of efficient, customer‑focussed solutions. This involves working closely with stakeholders and technical teams across all departments, understanding and gathering requirements, translating business needs into actionable plans, and ensuring that projects align with the Council’s strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a passion for technology and innovation, with excellent communication skills, who solves problems with curiosity, creativity and an openness to ideas. You understand the importance of designing services around the needs of those who use them and have delivered effective digital processes and systems that have added value. You will hold the British Computer Society International Diploma in Business Analysis, or equivalent practitioner level qualification in business analysis, or be part qualified with an expected completion date within the next 6 months.
