Arup is seeking a Business Analyst to join our global delivery team and collaborate with Delivery Managers, Architects, Project and Portfolio Management teams, project support, and Business Change teams, reporting to the Head of Delivery.

You will contribute to the prioritised portfolio of projects, participate in requirements workshops, and help drive value through analytics, testing analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, across a cloud-oriented, global landscape.

Formación

• Experience in business analysis to help deliver portfolio initiatives.
• Familiarity with agile and iterative value creation in a user-centric environment.
• Ability to articulate business value to stakeholders using BA techniques.
• Experience with software product development, data or automation projects in cloud contexts.
• Ability to work with diverse, global teams across locations and time zones.

The Business Analyst will work within a global delivery team, partnering closely with Delivery Managers, Architects, Project and Portfolio Management teams, project support teams, and Business Change teams, reporting to the Head of Delivery.

This role supports the successful delivery of a prioritised portfolio of projects and programmes across the organisation. It offers the opportunity to contribute to key business initiatives that support Arup's strategic goals and commitment to design excellence. The position provides broad exposure to enterprise-wide transformation and the delivery of the firm's five-year strategy.

• Provides exposure to work on global projects and programmes as well as emerging technologies
• Being part of a global team that provides exposure to different countries and cultures
• Establishes a solid career pathway that is competency based where development opportunities are part of continued professional development
• The role engages in requirements workshops and engineering, stakeholder analysis, value management, opportunities to proxy as product managers, testing analysis, communities of practice and skills network engagement as well as opportunities to own continuous improvement initiatives

• Experienced in working on projects with highly satisfied sponsors and end users, having achieved tangible results and business outcomes, leading to value creation and benefits realisation
• Capable of articulating the value of business analysis when engaging with stakeholders, and calling upon a range of business analysis techniques when eliciting requirements
• Experience working with different delivery methodologies, with a focus on agile and iterative value creation in a user-centred design environment
• Proven track record in software product development, data or automation projects in a cloud-oriented, secure, global landscape
• Experience working with diverse teams across several global locations, time zones or cultural backgrounds
