Job summary

West Yorkshire Police, Digital Policing (IT), Wakefield, is seeking two Digital Business Analysts to support the Innovation team in delivering digital projects aligned to the corporate strategy. This full-time temporary post offers agile working, 37 hours per week, for two years.

You will engage with business stakeholders to shape ideas into viable projects, develop realistic business requirements and processes, and ensure effective service delivery across digital services.

Qualifications

• Experience in business relationship and stakeholder management.
• Experience in business analysis and requirement gathering for technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Methodical and analytical problem solving.
• Familiarity with formal project management methods (PRINCE2, Scrum, DSDM, Agile).
• Willingness to travel to operational sites for business visits.
• Full UK/EU driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the business to manage client expectations regarding significant technology changes.
• Improve alignment of Digital Policing services to business requirements.
• Communicate strategy and direction of the department.
• Resolve customer issues of service delivery.
• Work with stakeholders and delivery teams to shape ideas into viable projects and develop realistic business requirements and processes.
