The Digital Account Director – Paid Media is an experienced and ambitious role that supports the Head of Paid Media in leading the delivery and growth of our Paid Media offering across multiple markets. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, managing multi-channel campaigns, building strong client relationships, and mentoring a growing team. You will play a central part in delivering data-driven, impactful digital marketing strategies while helping shape our end-to-end digital capabilities. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Client Services, Creative, Strategy, and Data teams to ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standard and aligned with our clients’ strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, activation, and optimisation of Paid Media campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and emerging channels (e.g. DOOH, CTV, Audio).
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with defined KPIs and commercial goals.
  • Use data and analytics to monitor performance, optimise results, and ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout.
  • Educate stakeholders on Paid Media’s strategic role and proactively resolve challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Manage and mentor the Paid Media team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Drive innovation by testing new platforms, formats, and strategies, while sharing key learnings across the team.
  • Identify and support opportunities to expand Paid Media services across accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial processes, including budget tracking, cost-saving initiatives, and profitability targets.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Proven experience managing Paid Media campaigns across Search, Social, Programmatic, and emerging channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital performance metrics, optimisation strategies, and campaign reporting.
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple campaigns and teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience developing and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Strategic thinker who balances short-term delivery with long-term vision and continuous improvement.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially focused, with a track record of identifying growth opportunities.
  • Knowledge of digital maturity models, performance marketing, and digital transformation.
  • Exposure to international markets and regional campaign execution.
  • Empathetic leader with strong coaching, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable tailoring messaging across seniority levels and driving collaboration across teams.
