Job summary

Elysium Healthcare in Thatcham is recruiting a Dietitian to support service users in the hospital's mental health and learning disabilities services. You will deliver dietetic services across the hospital, align with the Nutrition and Hydration Strategy, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Dietetics
• HCPC Registration
• Experience in a similar setting

Responsibilities

• Involved in development of a need-led service
• Providing dietetic clinical services both on an individual and group basis
• Completing assessments, plan, implement interventions and evaluate outcomes as per care paths
• Planning and implementing individual and group interventions collaboratively with patients
• Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
• Maintaining accurate patient records and reports
• Establishing effective communication with patients, carers, staff and external agencies
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery
• Providing training and education as a central part of this role
• Maintaining relationships with clinical colleagues and teams

Education
