A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dietitian to support the acute team during a maternity leave period. This 22.5 hours/week position involves managing inpatients and outpatient clinics, offering a chance for involvement in quality improvement and training of student dietitians. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications and experience in nutritional support.
We are looking to recruit a Dietitian to support our acute team during a period of maternity leave caring for inpatients, based at Royal Bolton Hospital. The caseload will include managing inpatients some requiring parental nutrition and an outpatient clinic for gastroenterology patients at Lever Chambers Centre for Health.
You will report to the Acute Teams and Team Leaders and be part of the wider Bolton Foundation Trust Dietetic Department. The department is composed of two teams, acute and community with a total of 19 W.T.E staff. We provide an integrated service across both our Hospital and Community sites meeting the needs of our patients across the whole of the Bolton population.
As a department we encourage quality improvement and audit work. We are experienced trainers for student dietitians currently providing P1, P2 and P3 placements with the University of Chester, MMU and UCLAN. The service operates a flexi‑time working arrangement and recognises the importance of balancing the needs of work with family commitments. This post is a 22.5 hours/week post.
