Overview

Dietician (Bank) – Beaumont Hospital, Bolton.

Bank Shifts. Salary: Up to £30.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).

Responsibilities

• Undertake nutritional assessments and develop individualised care plans for patients with complex clinical needs.
• Provide evidence‑based dietary advice to patients with acute and chronic conditions (e.g. gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, oncology, malnutrition).
• Work closely with consultants, nurses, speech and language therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diet, nutrition and lifestyle changes to support health and recovery.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with professional and legal standards.
• Maintain professional registration with the HCPC and adhere to the BDA Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Dietetics or equivalent HCPC‑approved qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
• Experience in a range of clinical areas (e.g. surgical, medical, oncology, gastroenterology).
