Job summary

Bere Clinic in Waterlooville is seeking a Dietetic Assistant to support a multidisciplinary team working with young people with eating disorders. You will assist the Registered Dietitian, help collect nutritional data, and contribute to therapeutic interventions under supervision.

The role offers CPD opportunities, structured training, and a supportive environment within Elysium Healthcare. Salary is £25,565 with generous annual leave and staff benefits in a CAMHS setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a CAMHS and/or eating disorder service.
• NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Healthcare Support Services or NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.
• Associate member of the British Dietetic Association.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and dietetics as it relates to eating disorders.
• Understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health problems or other disabilities.
• Theoretical knowledge of Eating Disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in the planning and facilitation of a range of training sessions and group work.
• Collect data for audit or research purposes and record information accurately.
• Promote healthy eating to young people within a nutrition education framework.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is in place for a safe discharge, including appropriate follow-up.
