MasterTech is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Leeds, AL to maintain, diagnose, and repair over-the-road equipment including vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, and plows.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in diesel mechanics, strong knowledge of electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems, and familiarity with OEM diagnostic software. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus, and the role offers a structured shift schedule.

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in Leeds, AL.

The successful Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment, including vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, plows, etc.

Compensation:

• $27.00 - $35.00/hour to start based on experience.
• Quarterly bonuses of around 6% of annual base pay.
• Comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
• PTO and sick/personal days.
• 401K match.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6AM-8AM start time.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field (heavy equipment, oilfield, automotive, etc.)
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with OEM diagnostic software or other scanners.
• Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
