Job description

Diagnostic Technician

Location: South Woodham Ferrers, Essex

Salary: Basic £38,000–£43,000 + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Uncapped OTE up to £52,480

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm | Alternate Saturdays, 8am–12pm

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Your Role as a Diagnostic Technician
  • Carry out advanced diagnostic fault‑finding using the latest diagnostic technology
  • Support and mentor technicians and apprentices within the workshop
  • Perform high‑quality servicing, mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Liaise with technical teams for complex diagnostic cases and raise escalation where required
  • Road test and quality‑check all completed work to ensure performance and safety
  • Accurately document all findings and maintain workshop excellence
