A regional health authority in Carmarthen is seeking a Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join their Diabetes Service. The ideal candidate will have experience in diabetes nursing and the ability to deliver education programs to patients. This part-time, permanent role offers opportunities for professional development in a friendly team environment. Knowledge of the Welsh language is desirable.
Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join the Diabetes Service at Glangwili General Hospital. TREND-UK competencies required and experience in diabetes nursing.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of diabetes nursing, diabetes clinical assessment and delivering specific diabetes education programmes to patients and staff. We are a friendly small diabetes team and supportive to development in the role and welcome new team members wishing to develop their career in diabetes specialist nursing. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply. Interviews will be held on 19/11/2025.

Desirable: Experience of working in primary or community care, diabetes and pregnancy for gestational diabetes and pre-existing diabetes, insulin pump and diabetes technology
