Job description
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts & Finance department across all concerns of the group.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and coordinate with internal/external auditors during audits.
  • Lead cash flow management, fund allocation, and banking activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Monitor and control all financial transactions, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the group's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Ensure proper tax planning, timely filing of returns, and compliance with VAT, Tax (TDS), Customs, and other statutory regulations as per NBR rules.
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders for financing, investment, and treasury management.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prepare forecasts, perform financial analysis, and support decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate and improve internal control systems and recommend best practices for financial risk management.
  • Monitor financial KPIs, ensure cost efficiency, and support senior management with strategic financial insights.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team for enhanced productivity and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS), Company Act, and relevant legal frameworks.
