DFG Officer

Rate: £47 per hour
Location: Essex
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full Time – 37 hours per week
On-site Requirement:3 days per week

My client is seeking an experienced DFG Officer to join their Housing Adaptations team on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support vulnerable residents by delivering high-quality Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process DFG applications from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Conduct home visits to assess eligibility and identify necessary adaptations.
  • Liaise with contractors, occupational therapists, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • Prepare schedules of work and monitor progress against agreed timelines.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and funding requirements.
