Job summary

Greene Tweed is seeking manufacturing personnel capable of operating and supporting diversified production tasks. You will work on machinery and manual operations, following design specifications and customer requirements with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires reading technical drawings, attention to detail and the ability to work within a team while managing workload. Training and Lean Six Sigma initiatives will be part of the job to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma/Secondary School Qualifications.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOMs and routings.
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage workload independently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on order requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery including knife skive, saw, notching machine and other machinery per procedures.
  • Assemble parts, perform deburring and other manual operations as required.
  • Read drawings and specifications to complete tasks and maintain quality checks.
  • Record work in SAP (part counts, first piece inspection, etc.) for every job.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area per ISO9001 and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Participate in training, Lean/Six Sigma activities and team rotations.
