Job summary

CGI in Manchester is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms. You will embed security and automation across the lifecycle, shaping DevOps and SRE practices while delivering high-value digital solutions for clients.

You will work across modern cloud environments, mentor engineers, and contribute to a culture of ownership and collaboration. UK Security Clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles within modern cloud environments.
• Proactive approach to security, reliability and continuous improvement across infra, platforms and pipelines.
• Strong scripting and automation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design & Secure Cloud Platforms across hyperscalers
• Develop & Optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Automate & Provision Infrastructure using IaC tooling
• Implement & Enhance containerisation and virtual environments
• Embed & Advance observability (monitoring, logging, alerting)
• Lead & Champion DevSecOps and SRE best practice
• Mentor & Support engineers
