Job summary

Understanding Recruitment is working with a well-funded defence technology start-up to hire a DevSecOps Engineer who will build and secure the infrastructure behind its core products. This hands-on role offers ownership of complex systems where security, reliability and performance are critical.

You will have strong experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform, and will build secure CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud security, IAM, networking and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP and modern cloud architectures.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform skills.
• Proven ability to build secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking and vulnerability management.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash or Go.
• Comfortable owning security decisions in a fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

What we're looking for:

• Cloud security, IAM, networking and vulnerability management
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash or Go
• Someone comfortable taking ownership and working in a fast-moving engineering environment
