A technology consulting firm is seeking an experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer with active DV clearance to join a highly skilled team in the UK. This hands-on role involves maintaining critical infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and developing CI/CD tools. The position offers a contract for 12 months with a competitive daily rate of up to £650, located in Gloucestershire with a 4-day work week.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment.

  • Maintain, optimise, and support complex infrastructure and integrations.

Job description

iO Associates are seeking an experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer with active DV clearance (UK*C) to join a highly skilled technical team supporting a mission-critical service for a secure client. This is a hands-on role, working closely with operations and security teams to ensure systems remain secure, stable, and high-performing.

Rate: Up to £650 / day Inside IR35

Location: 4 days / week in Gloucestershire

Contract: 12 months (+ extensions)

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, optimise, and support complex infrastructure and integrations
  • Embed security best practices across the software lifecycle
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring service resilience
  • Drive improvements through standardisation and automation initiatives
Essential Skills
