Job summary

ComXps is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer for London with DV clearance and on-site work 3-4 days per week. The role focuses on Terraform in pipelines, AWS EKS, and an observability framework, plus strong GitOps and bare metal Kubernetes skills.

You will collaborate across projects, support change management, and contribute to robust CI/CD and security practices in a fast-moving environment.

CONTRACT INSIDE IR35 12 MONTHS OR PERMANENT AVAILABLE

Clearance: DV

Location: 3-4 days a week onsite in London

Sought after Skills

• 1. Terraform in a pipeline environment
• 2. AWS - EKS, Shield, GuardDuty, SSO, Organisations
• 3. An observability framework - Prometheus-based/Elasticsearch based
• 4. OAuth / OIDC / TOTP
• 5. A scripting/programming language (e.g. Python, Go, Zsh/Bash, PowerShell)
• 6. True upstream Kubernetes bootstrapping (incl. bare metal hosts - not hyper cloud provided) incl. Helm
• 7. A true understanding of containerisation
• 8. GPG / PKI
• 9. Git / Gitflow / GitOps / Declarative pipelines
• 10. (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, VPC) with Terraform

Desirable skills/experience

• 1. 2 years+ within a DevOps/technical role
• 2. Experience deploying and running AI solutions
• 3. Resilient to change, previously worked within an agile business. Comfortable with change management
• 1. Ability to work seamlessly across multiple projects with varying stakeholders.
• 2. Knowledge of the software engineering process and best practice
• 3. Entrepreneurial thinker and approach

Certifications in any of the relevant tools/services are taken into consideration but not a hard requirement - relevant and demonstratable experience is.
