Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in infrastructure technologies, automation, and DevOps practices. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure systems to help keep our country safe. The position includes participation in a rota to ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems.

Utilise a diverse set of tools to support a system, working with developers and testers to troubleshoot specific issues, including recreating tests, validation configuration, and where possible automate elements of the software development lifecycle.

Facilitating Quality Assurance of the application set and deployment of the application into traditional Infrastructure as Code e.g. Puppet and Kubernetes environments.

Participate in Kanban and/or Scrum meetings to plan, prioritise and estimate work.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
