Job summary

TCM Partners is recruiting 2 DevOps Engineers in Manchester with hybrid working (2 days in Manchester). You will help deliver cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

You’ll work on greenfield cloud-native initiatives, improve automation, and streamline deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Terraform, and Azure DevOps. Ideal candidates have strong scripting and production-ready workloads experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS for containerised apps.
• Experience with Terraform for IaC and automation.
• Experience building deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Proficient in Python and PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Experience deploying AI, ML, API, and cloud workloads in production.

Manchester / Remote (2 days per week in Manchester)

Our client is continuing to invest in its technology and innovation capabilities and is looking to recruit 2x DevOps Engineers to support the development and delivery of its next generation of cloud and AI solutions.

These roles offer the opportunity to work on greenfield initiatives, modern, cloud-native platforms, helping to design, build and maintain secure, scalable and highly available solutions across Microsoft Azure. You’ll play a key role in improving automation, streamlining deployment processes and ensuring AI and cloud-based applications are robust, resilient and production-ready.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• 5 years’ experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including deploying and managing containerised applications.
• Proficiency in Terraform and experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML and associated automation tools.
• Python skills, alongside PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Experience deploying, operating and supporting AI, machine learning, API and cloud application workloads in live production environments.
