Candour is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape and evolve a large-scale AWS cloud environment. The role is remote-first with occasional visits to the Manchester office, offering hands-on work, automation, and IaC best practices to improve reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with the engineering team to drive automation, implement scalable infrastructure, and optimise costs while maintaining security and resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering role.
• Extensive experience designing and supporting AWS environments at scale.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of Git, version control and CI/CD principles.
• Experience optimising cloud infrastructure for performance, resilience and cost efficiency.
• Remote-first working with occasional visits to the Manchester office.

Location: UK Remote – with occasional visits to the Manchester office

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team, helping to shape, maintain and evolve a large-scale AWS cloud environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on improving cloud infrastructure, driving automation and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of core platform infrastructure as the business continues to grow.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and supporting AWS environments at scale.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Good understanding of Git, version control and CI/CD principles.
• Experience optimising cloud infrastructure for performance, resilience and cost efficiency.
