Senior DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE MANAGING BARE METAL KUBERNETES

Remote work. With occasional visits to London when required.

Ideally, you’ve worked in a startup environment and remained hands on. Preference given to candidates that work on real-time live deployments, live feeds or tracking industry is a huge plus.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an existing team DevOps team of five to work on cloud-based solutions. The role is remote working, but sometimes they meet up in London. The salary is 60k - £120k dependent on experience.

The primary focus will be on Designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes Service clusters, ensuring that business requirements around high availability, scalability and security are met. Other responsibilities include :

• Performing upgrades and patch management for clusters.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines.
• Establishing monitoring systems and alerting procedures.
• Documenting your work for other colleagues to follow and refer to.
• Optimise cloud and on-prem infrastructure to maximise reliability.
• Develop automation tools.
