A technology company is seeking a DevOps Engineer – Backend to join their team in London. This fully onsite position involves designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, strong expertise in CI/CD tools, and familiarity with various cloud services. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and networking.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and high-availability architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using relevant tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications.
• Monitor system performance and improve reliability.
• Enforce security best practices and identity management.
• Work with development teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and system maintenance.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies.
