Job description

DevOps & Platform Engineering Manager

We're looking for a hands‑on DevOps & Platform Engineering Manager to lead the design and evolution of modern Azure‑based platforms supporting multiple digital products and teams.

You’ll combine technical leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our Microsoft ecosystem.

This will be a Hybrid position in London (twice a week).

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a high‑performing DevOps team.
• Shape the roadmap for Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer enablement.
• Drive automation with Bicep, Terraform, Azure CLI, and modern IaC practices.
• Oversee Azure DevOps / GitLab pipelines, embedding quality and security checks.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to align priorities.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Bicep.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Git workflows, and scripting (PowerShell / Python).
• Excellent communication, prioritisation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bonus: AKS, Docker, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Expert.
