Job summary

IVC Evidensia is seeking an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon for our small animal service in Axminster, Devon. You’ll lead an overnight emergency caseload at our purpose-built hospital, with an RVN on site for support.

The role offers a two-nights-in-three pattern (currently Thursday and Friday) with no weekends and no on-call requirements. Salary is up to £69,000 FTE, with a welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation support up to £5,000.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary surgeon with a record in emergency and critical care.
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload overnight in a small animal hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency consultations, surgery and inpatients overnight.
• Work sole charge overnight with a dedicated RVN on site for support.
