Job summary

Vet Finders is assisting a long-established mixed veterinary practice on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon, with a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon vacancy. You will work across three sites in a varied caseload, balancing small animal consults and ambulatory large animal duties, including farm work.

A future partnership opportunity is on offer for the right candidate. Salary starts around £50,000 depending on experience, plus a clear path to higher earnings DOE.

Qualifications

• At least three years of veterinary experience; five+ years preferred.
• Mixed practice experience across small and large animal care.
• Confidence in sole-charge small animal consulting and ambulatory large animal work.

Responsibilities

• Provide a 50/50 mix of small and large animal work across three sites.
• Develop personal interests and contribute toward a future partnership.
• Participate in farm work (beef/sheep) with some equine activities.
