Job Description

An electrifying opportunity has emerged for someone with powers in device repair, customer service, and the essential role in electronic device repair. Batteries Plus in Carlisle, PA is recruiting a customer service oriented individual with a prowess in device repairs, starting at $15 an hour, increasing to $17 an hour when certifications are completed. There is also a bonus program available for this position.

Device Repair Technician Duties: Unleash Your Heroic Potential
  • Stand ready to engage with customers, logging device repair requests with a sense of duty.
  • Assess the potential for repairs, estimate costs, and communicate repair costs to the customer.
  • Repair responsibility includes cell phones, tablets, light fixtures, and other devices for our customers.
  • Take on logistics duties, receiving, packing, and shipping devices with a sense of urgency.
  • Install batteries, conduct tests, and perform technical work as part of your duties.
  • Rebuild cordless drill batteries and other power packs as part of your technical responsibilities.
  • Maintain inventory to ensure the flow of components crucial to operations.
  • Share knowledge with store teammates, training them in device disassembly, image capture, and the creation of video tutorials.
  • Guide other store associates through live camera-based remote support in in-store device restorations.
Customer Service / Sales: Elevate the Experience
  • Embrace the mantra of "Customer First" to guide every interaction with customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend add-on items that enhance the products of interest.
  • Execute transactions with detailed precision.
  • The store phone is critical for engaging customers, assisting callers, and relaying messages to the appropriate parties.

  • Collaborate, commit to following through, and ensure tasks are fulfilled.
Merchandising / Inventory: Guardian of the Order
  • Support store operations as directed by the Store Manager to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Track inventory, rotating, stocking, loading, unloading, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Ensure the store’s visual presentation is ready for daily challenges, including setting up and taking down displays.
Customer Service Device Repair Technician Qualifications: The Heroic Essence

  • If device repair experience is limited, an associate degree in electronics or a similar technical field suffices.
