WSP is seeking a Development Planner in Leeds to join our integrated Development team, working on commercial, retail, residential and Local Development Framework projects, developing transport strategies and supporting expert witness evidence.
You will prepare transport assessments, travel plans, access and parking strategies, and contribute to junction capacity modelling using Junctions 10 and Linsig, while communicating with clients and project teams across the UK.
We are seeking a Development Planner for our integrated Development team in Leeds. This role involves working on a range of commercial, retail, residential and Local Development Framework projects, developing transport strategies and supporting expert witness evidence.
• Develop transport assessments, travel plans, access strategies, parking strategies and active travel provision.
• Prepare traffic flow information for transport assessments and environmental statements.
• Set up and run junction capacity modelling software (Junctions 10, Linsig) and conduct scenario testing.
• Design conceptual junctions (priority, roundabout, signals).
• Communicate with clients, project teams and stakeholders.
• Share technical knowledge and support the wider team.
