BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Development Scientist to join our team. This is a fixed-term, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin. Join our team: advancing health, together.

The Role

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • The Development Scientist will be responsible for completing all planned laboratory work required for projects within the R&D team.
  • Expected to complete and write up experiments accurately utilizing approved formats.
  • The role will also involve analysis and presentation of all results using excel and power point for review and discussion by the project team.
  • Complete experimental write ups to QMS requirements and work with appropriate colleagues to review and approve in a timely manner.
  • Review of other scientists/senior scientists experimental write ups to achieve consistent quality and meet all QMS requirement.

You Should Apply If

  • Product Knowledge – Scientific oversight of Serosep products
  • Product Knowledge - Presentation and discussion of experimental data with the customer is expected
  • Working knowledge in application of statistical methods e.g. analytical and descriptive statistics, use of Minitab and Excel an advantage.
  • Experience of working within a laboratory environment.
  • Quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of immunology and analytical techniques such as ELISA.

This position is ring-fenced for employees currently working within our Contract Services department.
