Interim Development Partnerships Manager
Location: North London
Rate: £445 per hour (Umbrella)

A North London Local Authority is recruiting for an Interim Development Partnerships Manager to lead the delivery of new housing supply on council-owned land through alternative delivery models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of new housing developments in partnership with developers and affordable housing providers
  • Work closely with development partners to deliver high-quality, well-designed, energy-efficient homes
  • Maximise the delivery of genuinely affordable housing
  • Lead on the preparation and negotiation of development agreements and land transfer arrangements
  • Ensure all partnership agreements safeguard the Council's commercial and strategic interests
  • Manage large, complex development and regeneration programmes through to delivery
Experience & Knowledge Required
  • Proven experience working with developers and affordable housing providers to deliver new homes
  • Experience developing and negotiating residential development agreements
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes for residents and the authority
  • Experience managing complex development or regeneration programmes
  • Local authority experience highly desirable
