As part of one of the UK's leading speciality bakery manufacturers, you'll be responsible for coordinating project activity, managing timelines and ensuring key milestones are achieved. Working closely with Development, Commercial, Technical, Procurement, Planning and Operations teams, you'll monitor project progress, maintain accurate project documentation, coordinate customer sample requests and distribution, and proactively follow up on outstanding actions and approvals to keep projects moving forward.
Acting as a central point of contact for project administration, you'll ensure stakeholders are kept informed, sign-off processes are completed on time, and all project information is accurately maintained to support successful product launches.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly organised, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail, communication and coordination are key to success.
As a Project Coordinator, you'll play a central role in supporting the delivery of New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD) and packaging change projects by ensuring effective coordination, communication and project administration from concept through to launch. Working closely within the development team and with colleagues across Commercial, Technical, Procurement, Planning and Operations, you'll be responsible for maintaining project plans, monitoring timelines and tracking key milestones to ensure projects remain on schedule. You'll coordinate activities across multiple departments, follow up on outstanding actions, and ensure stakeholders are kept informed of project progress at every stage.
You’ll take ownership of the Point 74 Stage Gate process, maintaining project trackers, critical paths and Power BI reports to provide accurate visibility of project status. By keeping project information organised and up to date, you’ll support effective decision‑making, identify potential delays and help ensure key deadlines and sign‑off requirements are met.
A key aspect of the role will be managing project administration, including coordinating meetings, sending samples for testing, maintaining documentation, recording project updates and proactively chasing approvals and actions to keep projects moving forward. Acting as a central point of contact, you’ll build strong working relationships across the business and ensure clear communication between teams throughout the project lifecycle.
You’ll also coordinate customer sample requests, organise sample preparation and dispatch, arrange courier bookings and manage related administrative processes. In addition, you support purchase order administration and help coordinate ingredient, packaging and material requirements to ensure project activities are delivered efficiently.
This is a varied and fast‑paced role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be highly proactive, confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels and experienced in keeping projects on track through effective coordination and follow‑up.
