Development Manager Regeneration & Housing

Day rate: 600 - 800 per day (dependant on experience)

Contract position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Manager to support a major public sector regeneration programme delivering large-scale housing and infrastructure projects in partnership with leading developers.

Role Overview Development Manager

• Act as the local authorities lead for a flagship housing development (approx. 1500 homes schools and local centre).
• Coordinate internal workstreams across planning education finance and infrastructure teams.
• Manage relationships with joint venture partners ensuring governance compliance and timely delivery.
• Facilitate joint venture board meetings preparing papers and supporting decision-making.
• Support additional regeneration schemes and associated infrastructure programmes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in residential development and regeneration projects.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience working within joint venture frameworks and managing developer relationships.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to drive progress across complex workstreams.

Qualifications
