A leading aluminium extrusion company in the UK is seeking an experienced engineer to develop extrusion-based assemblies and components for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and English, have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and proficiency in Catia and Siemens NX. The role involves coordinating projects, leading technical discussions, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements, requiring up to 30% travel to Europe.

Through our unique combination of local expertise, global network, and unmatched R&D capabilities, we can offer everything from standard profiles, to advanced development and manufacturing for most industries.
The role purpose is to develop extrusion-based assemblies and components in collaboration with automotive OEMs and other industry customers, while leading technical discussions and coordinating development projects. It involves supporting Key Account Managers (KAM) and plants with rapid estimates, process layout input, and Engineering Change Requests (ECR), ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Additionally, the role requires working with customers CAD / CAE engineers, fostering close collaboration with the KAM team.
This role requires a willingness to travel to Europe in approx the 30% of worktime.
